FORUM UPGRADE

What, already?

Lisa Weston and 'Alias Al' are keeping a close eye on possible improvements. The software vendors released a new version of the forum software just after we opened the forum. Using the new version would mean two important things:
- It will be simpler for Al to create a single login facility for the forum and our stand alone version of PnF.
- It will be harder for hackers to interfere with our service to you.

The latter is a very real concern as we have reason to think that a very major Facebook game was hacked this week, resulting in it being down for a whole day.

Accordingly, Alias Al (our head programmer, who prefers his identity to be remain unknown) is planning to upgrade the main forum software from version 3.0.12 to 3.0.14 at approximately 8AM GMT Friday 29th May 2015 (3AM EST). The forum will be down during the upgrade. Please let us know if you have any problems with it AFTER service is restored.
