OK friends, me, being the worrisome person that I am, I'm fretting about something and want to ask your advice. Since I have been receiving donations for newbies (thank you so much to everyone who has sent things...I appreciate it so much) I have been making sure to write down every single thing I get and then write down who I send what to. I've realised I'm just making work for myself and it's something I just won't be able to keep up with, what with having to look after my mum and my husband as well. Do you all just trust me to do the right thing? I will be buying most of the stuff to give away myself (that's what makes me happy and I love doing that) and the donations will go along with the stuff I buy (to the new players.)
My question is do any of you feel like I need to keep lists etc? I just got worried in case anyone wanted me to prove that I'm giving out the donations (which I assure you I am and will be).
If not, I'll just give things out and they will be a mix of donations and my own stuff. I won't check to make sure the donations are definitely getting out each time (but please be assured that everything will eventually go out). I need very little for myself (mainly for my art and yes of course I like to collect some things). I'm more than happy to just give out packages that will include bits of everything (i.e. some will have gold/silver, some will have gold items which I will buy, and all will have card items and silver items, foods etc.) I think doing it this way I can make the packages even bigger because I won't be spending all my time writing down what I'm sending and to whom.

Hi everyone. In the other game I used to both buy and get donated things so I could give out packages to new users. I LOVED making up welcome packages. I would also randomly gift people who were looking for specific things etc.
I'd love to be able to do that here as well. I've tried to start building up a stash of things but I keep gifting them out so basically I only have one or two of the things I have and when you are trying to make up packages it helps to have a few more than one of an item lol.
Sooooooo, I'm just putting this out there. If anyone wants to donate anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated. I will end up doing this either way (i.e. I'll pet and buy all the things myself) but if you do have any extras sitting around that you won't use and would like to donate it, it would be wonderful.
All I can do is PROMISE you that anything that is DONATED will never be kept by me. It will be passed on to new users etc.
I DO ASK that if you send me a donation, that you let me know on the note that it's a DONATION. Otherwise I will think it's a gift for me LOL
There is something else that I want to say. In the other game, people were very generous with helping me (and I will always be grateful to them for that). However I'm actually quite sick (lifelong illness yada yada) and sometimes I get behind on things because I'm just in too much pain to do anything. I used to get myself into such a tizzy and really get worried when I got behind with thanking people for donations. There were times when I got so worried that I actually made myself sicker. I don't want to do that this time around. I will ALWAYS TRY my very best to thank you personally for any donations (and just about all of the time I will be able to do that) but if you ever don't get a thank you from me, please know that it's never intentional or that I don't appreciate your help. It's just because I've been in a lot of pain and am either unable to do anything at all right then and there or I have gotten way behind with things.
So let's see how this goes. I'll give it a couple of months and see if I manage to build up a stash (either by myself or with the help of you) and if I manage to do that I'll let Lisa know that she can tell new users to write on my page and ask for a welcome pack. I won't do that yet though just in case this doesn't work out.
Any and everything would be appreciated. Even golden moles and silver as I can buy foods etc. with that and like I said above, I will never use donations for myself. They will be given away.
