Some of the classic fantasy and scifi books that I have read in the past and I am thinking of reading again are the Thomas Covenant Chronicles by Stephen R Donaldson and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.

My favourite author is Terry Goodkind. His Richard and Kahlan novels are epic fantasy, and are superb.

My granddaughter was named after the main character in this series. Thanks for all the excellent book recommendations :)

The Unwind series by Neal Schusterman. YA books but I'm 52 and loved them so much.

I'll come back with more books later ... we seem to love the same types of books.

Lucy, have you read Piers Anthony's other series? I've read most of them and love them all. Love the Bio of a Space Tyrant series and the Incarnations of Immortality series ... Oh goodness yep, I love pretty much everything he's written.
