Also here are a few sig tip's:

Log In

Click your username in top right corner and choose profile settings and then signature settings

to get an image to show you will need to host your pic somewhere : http://www.tinypic.com is a good site!

then once you upload pic it will give you a code i.e

http://i42.tinypic.com/e6ahef.jpg

you then have to copy and paste that code into your signature box in modify profile add this to front of code

and this to the end

Code: Select all

 [/img]

no spaces between code and what I wrote.....i.e:

Code: Select all

[img]http://i42.tinypic.com/e6ahef.jpg[/img]

which will give you this



Also if you would like your image to link to your picture you will need to put it in the signature box like this :
So you will put [url=your page link]then [img]tiny%20pic%20code[/img][/url] xxx

Just copy and paste code you see in post into your Signature box! and it will show the pic !

signature help is kind of easy with TINYPIC. but profiles need to be less than 90x90p and less than 6kb in size. uploading from your PC. trying to figure out what fits is the biggest challenge

It has been a while since I have been in a forum, it use to be second nature but I really do need the refresher course <3

It's so difficult to get an avatar pic small enough, and still have it look half decent! Soooooo frustrating! It has to be no more than 90x90 and 6kb, that's incredibly small. Even googling 6kb 90x90 avatars has not brought me any luck. If anyone has suggestions, please help!

Tinypic has a resize option when you upload an image, but once uploaded I don't believe you can resize it. There is also a resize option with most paint and photo programs on your computer.

I usually take the original and save three or four resizes to test out which one(s) work best for a particular image.
